ROYAL KITCHENS AND FEASTS IN BUDA
Guided tour with music in the medieval palace exhibition

We invite you to a unique guided tour in our exhibition presenting the medieval royal palace of Buda. With the help of our excellent museum educator Gabriella R. Kiss you can learn about medieval cooking practices and recipes as well as what "Hungarian cuisine" meant in the 15th and 16th centuries. Since court musicians were an essential part of any royal gathering, the tour also includes a vielle (medieval violin) performance by Gergely Nagy.

Please note that the tour is in Hungarian.

You can attend the tour by registering on the following link and by purchasing a regular museum ticket. Full-price tickets are valid for one month after purchase for a visit either to the Kiscell Museum or the Aquincum Museum.
