The research service in the BTM Archaeological Repository will be suspended from 18 December 2023 to 5 January 2024. Researchers and new research permit applications will be accepted from 8 January 2024.
Those who wish to conduct research in the Archaeological Archives must apply for a research permit. Researchers should submit their applications either personally (at the Castle Museum of the Budapest History Museum, Buda Castle Building E), by mail (Budapest History Museum, Szent György tér 2., Budapest 1014, Hungary), or by e-mail to btm@btm.hu.
The staff of the Archives provides research services between 9am and 3pm every weekday. Researchers need to schedule an appointment for their research by e-mail at adattar@btm.hu.
