GUIDED TOUR IN THE EXHIBITION "BUDAPEST - LIGHT AND SHADOW - THE 1000-YEAR HISTORY OF A CAPITAL"

Led by our experienced museum educator Gabriella R. Kiss, this exhibition introduces you to Budapest's history from the early middle ages to the 1989 change of the regime through a selection of unique historical artifacts. In addition to a chronological presentation, it also explores significant themes such as the co-existence of different nationalities and religious groups, the changes of everyday living spaces, bath culture, industrial development, and the use of urban spaces for political purposes through the ages.
