The Budapest Castle Museum opened its temporary photo exhibition on 4 October 2019 titled 'Au Revoir! - Photographers of Hungarian heritage in France'.

The exhibition features more than 200 artworks by 31 artists including renowned artists Robert Capa, André Kertész, Brassaï, and other less well-known photographers. The images present 100 years of photography and art, with gems like André Kertész's three pieces that have recently been discovered and are now presented for the first time to the public.

We cordially invite you to our English guided tour in the exhibition, where you can discover the works as well as the personal lives and motivations to work abroad of various artists. Furthermore, we will take a closer look at the pictures, uncovering their social and historical references as well as the environment in which they were created.

Your visit is most welcome but requires registration.
